Scope of Work:
Breight Group was tasked with replacing the conveyor belt on CV006 at the Cloudbreak site. This project required specialised support for accessing the belt and utilising a 6.5-tonne press for the replacement. The work was performed in close coordination with the site maintenance team to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
The project began with the Breight Group maintenance team erecting scaffolding before the shutdown period, ensuring safe and efficient access to the conveyor system. Once scaffolding was in place, the Breight Group shutdown team took over, craning the new conveyor belt into position and securely tying it into place. After the splice was completed, the team then untied the belt, craned it out, and ensured that all equipment was safely dismantled.
Once the shutdown period concluded, the site maintenance team took over the final dismantling of any remaining components. Breight Group ensured the entire process was carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to the client’s timelines and operational standards.
